Material Changer

Overview

Quickly swap materials on 3D objects without navigating through the Inspector.

Access Methods

Method 1: Menu

Select Object

Select a GameObject with MeshRenderer or SkinnedMeshRenderer.

Open Material Changer

Go to Tools → BEE → Material Changer.

Method 2: Context Menu

  1. In Inspector, right-click on MeshRenderer or SkinnedMeshRenderer component
  2. Select BEE → Quick Change Material

Material Selection Window

The Material Changer window shows:

  • Search field — Filter materials by name or shader
  • Material list — Visual thumbnails with:
    • Material preview
    • Material name
    • Shader name
    • Asset path
  • Apply button — Click to apply selected material
Tip
All material changes support Unity's Undo system (Ctrl+Z).
